Glad I could help you,try to get the right combination of fly,retrieve and depth as constantly as possible.Don't be put off by blank days,I've countless times gone past a stretch of water that "did'nt look right" and embarassingly watch a newby catch bass with some underated fly I would'nt dream of presenting to a bass,outof interest I use a 10wt rod and 14lb Double X line as tippet,I also have 11&8lb line for difficult conditions and very clear water.Good luck bassin'.

Have not had a chance to tie any yet, Been busy with tests and then i got exams, but after the 10th Nov will be free and have plenty of time.. What flies do you use for the Browns?? I will tie up a few for you and send them. on my old vice i Have only tied A few wooly buggers, And some PTN and my own formula Nymphs.. Thanks again.. Andrew
