Thanx, The trout were caught in Aug 09 at Bo-Vlakte near Barrydale.
And the yellows are on the vaal near parys, we were there in Dec 09.

There are venues where you can hire boats.

We fished flies from buggers to baitfish imitations using floating line an 18ft leader.

Cast into the structure subtiley and retrieve with short strips, watch the line and feel..the one in the picture took very softly.

Best time is winter as the LM's stick close to structure, plus water clarity might help.

There a numerous spots in the Parys or Potch area.

You need to look of nice deep structured water.

I dont know if you have fished for them before, but it is hard work.

You will also need to use a boat to access the water.
