whe do get alot of bass in the river but whe do all our fishing on farm land so its more private but i gona try and get one of those monster carps in the river whe have caught carp up to 14kg in the river on normal tackle but in 2012 im gonna target them on fly. The float would be good just watch out for submerged trees they can puncture a float tube easily.
Hey Phil Nice going on the Breede leeries. I have a place infanta side, yet to target the fish on fly though. Do you ever do any bass fishing around Swellendam? I caught my 1st bass in the river right below the N2 bridge. Going to try do a float trip there over the Xmas holidays. Cheers Jade
