Try this devastatingly deadly pattern
For the past 10 years I have been working on a fly to end all flies. A dressing so incredibly deadly it will probably be banned where ever it is seen.
But I'm going to let you all in on the secret. And I am going to warn you not to overdo it, Whenever I use this fly I limit myself to 3 fish, all returned in a session, and then I switch back to more normal patterns.
Anyway - here goes:
This fly must be tied on a silvered 2 x long Shank Kamasiquu NR C 1223 size 11.
Silk: Pure natural silk
Tail: Three whiskers from the mask of the European wildscheschwein.
Wings: Matched primary wing from the Hawaiian p'ouli.
Body: Fur from White Jade seal dyed puce mixed with Gerbil stomach fur dubbed.
Hackle: One Body hackle from the Madagascan Red Owl tied palmerwise followed by one neck hackle from Norwegian Blue parrot tied in at head.
Throat: Feather fibres from Austral Rail secondary wing.
Rib: oval platinum tinsel.
Tag: Dodo biots clipped.
Why not try it out on your next trip.
