I am looking for a 5wt TFO axiom does any one have one lying around that you want to sell or know of any good deals your help will be really appreciated.

May I ask why you specifically want the Axiom?

It is a very heavy rod and makes sense in the heavier weights as it casts beautifully even in wind. But in the lighter weights this can be a bit excessive.

I ordered a TFO BVK from flyshack.com. Shipping was $30 and the rod was $249, so the total cost was just under R2400 landed, all in. And I got it in 3 days.

Funny thing was that the original TFO dealer invoice was left in the packaging, so now I know that the dealer price was $125. Healthy markup that!
