Has anyone had the chance to cast the new Explorer T50 rods yet? How does it compare with the other rods in the same price class? I fished the 9ft 3wt in Oct with Jan Korrubel on the Bushmans. I liked the rod and found the action a little slower than my Ecotec Titan 9ft 3wt. I would say the rod is med to med fast. I found it a little heavy and mentioned this to John Giles when he was at the CPS a couple of weeks ago. The rod is still under development and will apparently be available early next year with a couple of mods. It's a good looking rod. Not sure re the 5wt but maybe give it a cast when it's available and see what you think?
