Monday Blues.. NOT!

Hi Guys,

Me and my good friend Martin decided to hit the Vaal on Monday.. We had a wonderful time on the water, flow was at around 40cumes and the water clarity was just amazing. I have't seen the Vaal this clean sine maybe 2008, I was even able to take some underwater shots! The fishing was of the charts and between the two of us we landed over 30 Yellows...The day was ended off with a beautiful SM that was caught by Martin- his personal best.

hey dirk, sounds like a great story... but the pics dont work

one question - people say "went to the vaal" but its a big place. i assume everyone means the river, but being someone who has never cast a fly yet, are there specific places that are as good as in your story - or is that asking too much?

Beautiful pics! I have never caught the vaal, and the more I look at these threads, the more I want to... I just dont think I am ready yet for a river. Need to finetune my casting on dams for now and slowly build up some flies for yellowfish.

Hi William,

Think you have to be registered on that image uploading site to view the pictures that he uploaded?

Anyways, I cant see them either..

Its kinda like saying, "Look at that hot chick, DAMN!" And then not showing where she is..
