    You guys ROCK!
I was fortunate/lucky enough to win one of your rods through tcff.
Just to relate. I picked up my magazine Monday morning and did a dance when I saw that I won.
I phoned frontier at 10am and ordered the rod. It is now Tuesday morning and I am casting the rod on my lawn in sunny Durban, and this for an item that I did not pay for.
We all complain about the service industry in South Africa, well, you guys gave me new hope.
You have set the standard, and have won a client for life.
Well done, and once again, a BIG thank you.
    catch and release

    Hi Korrie

It's not our call to who wins the rod, it is the editors call.

just to give some feedback on the rod.
    i opted for the 3weight trs+
you werent joking when you said it is a fast action rod.
you need to get a fair bit of line out before it starts loading properly.
probably not suited for close in river fishing, but a beautiful rod for stillwater or tubing if you want to fish light.
no problem handling decent fish, and being an eight foot, makes it a little easier on the tube.
very good grade cork, and lovely finishes. highly recommended.
    catch and release
