    Default Tab eyes

Anyone know where I can source 3D tab eyes like the ones in the link locally?

Alternatively flat prism tab eyes will also do.

I have seen these at Both Stream-X and Upstream. They go under different names but are exactly these eyes.

Oh - the ones i have seen do not have the tabs. A pin works well as an alternative.

    Hi Dave,

How do these differ from other 3D eyes? Also, have you seen the new ones done by Fishient? Dumbell 3D jobbies.

    Cheers

Ja, the dumbell ones from Fishient are called "rainbow eyes" from what i remember, looked at them a day or two ago. Solly's were supposed to recevie a big shipment of fishient stuff last week. Might give them a call...

The advantage of the tab eyes is that they're faster to tie and and more secure than "free floating" eyes. Basically tie the tab in on the front of the hook shank and then epoxy. Spacing, angle etc is also very easy to match on both sides if you're pedantic
