Travelling rod

So an extra foot or 2 at the most, divided by 6 or 8. thats what 5cm shorter? The only time this will make a difference is if I use my wife kia instead of my Mazda. FIGJAM, you are the 1st person I have met who packs their ff rods in there suit case.

that's the reason for a travel rod. put them in nice little travel cases so they don't get wrecked during the trip

I fish a stealth deep red 5 piece (although it is a 9wt). find it packs up nice and small, i enjoy the action of the rod and for the price i dont think you can go wrong. Having said this i am a begginer to the sport so bear that in mind!

explorer have a travel rod in the Guide series. it's an 8'6" 8pc 5wt

no idea on price

I paid less than R1000 2 years ago. Tough little rod. Casts nicely. I usually smuggle it in my luggage when flying from CPT to JHB and back. The case fits in my backpack when bundu bashing.
