    Arrow Swimming Midge Larva

    So named because of the hook used.

    Hook: Daiichi 1870 #14 (Swimming larva)
    Body: Thread - Sheer Red 14/0 twisted. Once done apply a coat of Sally Hansons as this will enhance the thread segments.
    Head: Peacock herl.

    Exceptional fish taking fly.Simple to tie and deadly!

    Thanks Gerrit, ek gaan vannaand van hulle in my nuwe box inbou. Lyk soos fish takers.
    Fishing is just my thing. I don't know what it is but it seems that i just can't get enough of it.

    I LIKE!! But the body is so fine, reduce hook size and extend body to past hook bend.

    Korrie jy weet ek glo ook in die off set punt so hierdie "vars vanaf die Vise" flies sal eersdaags gebuig word. Dis jammer hulle kom nie klaar so in die pakkie nes die 1120 Scud hoeke nie. Weet nie sommer my lessenaar se blad maar ek dink dis Oak.

    Gerrit, is size 14 nie dalk bietjie groot vir 'n mug imitasie nie? Ek het juis gewonder of hulle so groot word?

    #14 is te klein as ek "al" die midge larva itv size wil imitate. Jy kan even #8 gaan en belowe ek jou jy gaan goeie resultate kry.
