Default My little place called Heaven

A friend of mine told of a small river that flows into the the big dam at Buffeljagsrivier but its not easy acses to the river and he told me there is big bass of over 2kg+ so I packed the 6w rod.

So after work i drove onto a few dirt rodes and found the river and drove to the closest farm to ask the owner if i can fish there he told anytime I wane go i can just come so i drove back to the river and found a great place to park and is close to the river.

here is a pick of the samll river.

the river is abit dried out here is a pic of how it looks like now averywhere is fish chowing on the water on bugs.

so i put on a popper that i tied the night before and second strip on with a small Bluegill

so it whet on every cast is a strike but all are hooked

    a small bass

a bigger bass that swallowed the popper almost to the back of the froat
