    Default Largie Swap

Why don't we have swaps anymore?

Largie season is uppon us and I'm sure there should be a couple of you that can do with some new flies. So here's the advertising compaign for this swap:

If you want to catch these...

You gotta have some Go to's, Buggers, Craft fur jobbies etc... like these

    So lets swap them out.

    The Rules:

    1. Tie one of any fly suitable for largies for each of the participants (do a quality job)
    2. Send them to Chrisvd headquarters by 30 July 2012
    3. Include your postal adress and return postage.
    4. I will distribute the flies once all is received.
    5. Add a couple extra flies for the swapmeister.

    The spin

I will post pics of each of the flies received, forumers will vote and the winner will get a free guided day on the Orange with myself or Klaas Viljoen. You just need to get here and we will sort out your food, boat and lodging next to the Orange for one day.

The first 10 forumers to put down their names here will form part of this swap.

Great idea Chris! It's been far to long since we've had a decent fly swap. I'm in.

Im in! This should be good!
    Around the steel no tortur'd worm shall twine, No blood of living insect stain my line;
Let me, less cruel, cast feather'd hook, With pliant rod athwart the pebbled brook,
Silent along the mazy margin stray, And with fur-wrought fly delude the prey

    Chris,

Great plan, I've been thinking about the same thing lately.

I am definitely in for this swap.

This sounds like its going to be a very good one!!

Good to hear, I'm sure this one will be good, it's not even been 2 hours and we only have 3 spots left. Perhaps some more quality tyers will enter. Gerrit, Ryan, Gary, Korrie, Barend?

So, just to be clear...we have to tie up 11 flies in total (11 of the exact same fly of course).
1 for each swop member, one for the swapmeister.

    Correct?
