    Default Kingfish(Jack) action on video

Finally got around to collate and attempt to edit some Kingfish videos into something viewable - hopefully.

PS: parental guidance advised for those sensitive to the odd bit of &!&@!

    Thank you for sharing.

How long does the fight last and what was the average size of fish caught?

    Yum!

A quick question, did I see right, do you use a strap on pouch to seat the fighting butt of your rod into ?

Fantastic Arno! And to all those budding videographers out there, let this be a lesson to you. Videos with an angry music soundtrack are ALWAYS better! No exceptions.

Good one Shuan, must agree those Kingie are angry and angry music makes sense! Does help though that I had some angry tracks on iTunes...

Yes, I had to start using a rod bucket after a couple of days. My groin area was getting a bit sensitive... It is basically the same as a conventional fishing rod bucket, just shorter to accomodate the shorter rod butt section on a fly rod.

Well I can tell you one thing - compared to GT's they are not as fast, they kept us busy for a long time. With that they are very strong around the boat, playing merry go-round...

Wrt to weight - we tried not to take fish out the water, unless it was for a quick pic, so on the weights I would guesstimate a varience on the fish caught between 12-25kg. The beauty of this fishery was that we did not see any small fish!

My only dissapointment was not getting any Senagalese Jacks...
