step 1:tie on the eyes
step 2:tie down mink zonker strip
step 3: split thread and and add flash dubbing and spin it , then rap it up the fly
step 4: tie down zonker strip at head
step 5: tie in the soft hackle sides ( like in a mrs.simpson) two on each side
step 6: spin klipspringer at the head of the fly and over eyes and tie off
step 7: trim klipsringer hair and make a neat head .

hook , i normally use the the gamakatsu SL12S hook ( not in the pics because i didn't have any) . and dumbell eyes to match the hook . can be tied in any sizes . i used danvilles 210 denier waxed flymaster+ , CDL soft hackle for the gillplates , harelin mink zonker strip ,bluewater flashabou dubbing and klipspringer from Aidan de jager
