Default Some serious hiking boots & others on sale @ Footgear

DISCLAIMER - I am not affiliated with Footgear in ANY way.

Footgear are having a sale on much of the shoes & boots they carry. Brands include Merrell, Hi-Tec, CAT, Nike etc.

I saw some advertising in my local community newspaper & went in to get the Merrell Thermo-6 waterproof hiking boot.
I left my Hi-Tec V-lite waterproof boots in a hotel room in either Sweden or Finland towards the end of last year. I did not realise this until I opened my shoe cupboard in April to take out my hiking boots, which just were not there!

The Merrell is WAY nicer than the latest Vlite and cheaper too @ R1000. Both boots have Vibram soles which grip well on rocks and can even be used as a stream wading boot in a pinch, but the Merrell's are better designed IMHO & fit me well, as have all Merrell's I have ever owned.

These are designed as cold weather boots, so I also got a pair of very light weight Hi-Tec Otter Trail waterproof boots for R600, for warm weather use.

NOTE - the website does not list the sale prices of the footwear.

They have branches all over Cape Town & 2 in Johannesburg

They even have a *REALLY* customer-friendly returns/exchange/refund policy.
