    This is also the reason woven flies work.. They may be time consuming but they provide the fisherman/tier to apply contrast.. dark upper body with say white on the bottom.. I believe this is very effective.. When I have some time, I'll tie up a few and post some pics.. Would work well on the caddis patterns
