Looks like the updatewd their site a bit, but still has all the goodies :-)

Look for spindless reels - ones with the O next to them :-)

Its a pity its a #000! I was in the market for something for my Dorber which Mario is gonna put together for me. I'm needing something like a #1 wt or #2wt

It will take up to a 2W line, I think you should load it with line and then have a look.

I realise that you guys are looking for ultralight reels for ultralight rods, but some of these reels look like space shuttle instrumentation, not classical line storers to be used in the ancient art of flyfishing in a trout stream. The space age designs are more suited to salt water fishing. Of course I am talking about personal preference here, and we all have different requirements of our reels.

For small stream trout fishing a reel must:
    1) Hold a flyline and a small amount of backing
    2) Have a fairly smooth drag and avoid overwinds
    3) Look good in a subtle kind of way
    4) Make me feel good about it
    5) Not be too heavy
    .......Possibly in that order.

I much prefer the more traditional looking reels:

    Orvis CFO:

    Orvis Battenkill Bar Stock:

    Hardy Lightweight

As I say, it's all personal preference. And the traditional look just feels right to me. Just my Z$ 1,000,000,000
