Well, my list isn't as gratuitous as Gogga's but should give him something to be a little envious about.

    Yellowfish:

    1) LargeMouth
    2) SmallMouth
    3) Bushveld LargeScale
    4) Highveld SmallScale
    5) Nkomati Chiselmouth (I think they technically qualify as a YellowFish)

    Trout:

    1) Red
    2) Brown
    3) Golden (Ok I know they don't really count)
    4) Rainbow

    Bass:

    1) LargeMouth
    2) SmallMouth

    Carp:

    1) Mirror
    2) The usual kind

    Kurper:

    1) Blue
    2) Vlei
    3) Red Breasted

    Miscellaneous:

    1) Sharptooth Catfish
    2) Vaal/Orange Mudfish
    3) Mosquito Fish (on a #22 black wire brassie, she was a giant female of 7cm)
    4) Various kinds of Tilapia

    My wishlist:

    1) Mahseer (Musullah, Golden, who cares, just give me one already)
    2) Tigerfish
    3) Goliath/Giant Tigerfish
    4) Nile Perch
    5) King Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Red Salmon
    6) Steelhead Trout, Brook Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Dolly Varden, Golden Trout (The real golden trout)

Followed then by everything that can be caught in estuarine/salt water ...

SO gogga, when are you coming for a trip to find some Vaal Gold ?
