Question Wild Clover Farm & Report Backs

Hello all. Noticed on the streamx website this is a "new" (Couldn`t find any info in flytalk as well) venue. Has anyone been here and how is the fishing, how big are the dams, etc?

have a couple of hours free on Sunday and in the mood for some stillwater fishing.

    Hi Mr GT,

That is unfortunately a members only venue and for now memberships are closed. You are welcome to go and have a look and can be put on a list for next year's memberships. Great fishing, both trout and bass. See http://www.wildclover.co.za for a map.

    Best Regards,

    Philip

Only managed to get out to the Dam once over the winter Months, but Platon and I had a great session... I think we got about a dozen or so fish between us... beautifully marked, and VERY strong fighting fish...

Dam is very weeded ( was when we fished ) so I'd advise a kick boat or canoe or something if you have... if not you could definitely still fish along the wall where you can reach open water on a longer cast...

We had a great day, just wish I'd had more time to fish it because its great having access to fishable water so close to town...
