Default Need help to find CPS beats

    Hi, All!
My name is Nick, I'm from Russia, so sorry for my bad English . From time to time I visit Cape town & always try to go fishing. This year I became a member of CPS & booked Beat 6 and the Hotel beat on the Smalblaar. Could anybody please give me detailed instructions how to find parking place for this beats & then how to find the beat from parking? I will have a car & GPS with me.
    Thank you!

    Hi, Korrie,
thanks a lot for your proposal. But I'm affraid that it would not be convinient for you becasue I'll arrive to CT late at night on Friday 15-th & leave airport hotel for fishing around 10 am on Saturday. I know that it may be too late for fishing but I will have my car availible only at that time. If it suits you well, then I'll be more then happy to take advantage of your offer. But also please note that I'm very beginner in fly fishing, more over I'm using Tenkara but not real wester fly rod.

CPS told me, that for Hotel beat I should park on the Hotel parking. Do you know the Hotel name? May be I could find a directions on their web site.

Beat 6, is upstream from the Hotel.
as you get out of the TOLL TUNNEL, it is trib on your left hand side.
or if you look at the tunnel or up stream, it will be the trib to the right hand side of the tunnel. it is small stream, in some sections, a bit bushed in, but lovely fishing

    Hi Nickkim
I'm quite intrigued to know why you booked hotel beat and beat 6 without knowing where they are. I'm purely curious, because I would be totally out of my depth if I was in a foreign country and wanted to go fish without having someone take me or someone who knows where the rivers are. I hope Korrie can take you. Good luck and I see there is some heavy rain coming. Damn

Rols, I booked 1 beat per day according to CPS rules. May be you are right, it sounds not very clever to go alone to unknown place in foreign country, but I don't like to bother people, more over when my plans are not very clear. I already passed the same quest trying to find river for fishing in Germany, it was not easy at all too. Hope finally I will find the river & some fishes in it
