Nice pictures and fish there mate.

It's interesting the resurgence of the glass rods again.
I remember the clunky old glass rods when I first started out and couldn't believe the difference graphite made when they were first introduced.

There are some beautifully made custom glass rods that are all the rage at present.
    I love that butterscotch colour.

    Nice mate

    Thanks Dogto0th,
Yes it seems glass is alive and kicking again ...
This new , so called fast glass , is completely new animal comparing to our Father's fibreglass rods we know .

Up to 4 , or even #5 weight , glass becomes my choice of delicate presentation .
Even delicate rod, it is almost indestructible !

    There's a name I haven't heard for a while.

He's built a few customs for me over the years - his work is outstanding.
I've still got a few of the early SAGE big game sticks he did.

Zoran, when you speak to Derrick again, pass on my regards will you mate.

Derek is doing some work on a few of my rods right now. Handled an Epic 8 ft 4 & 5 wt blanks in his workshop. 5 wt felt sweet, the 4 was a little soft for my liking, but neither were like glass of old. These are WAY different. Very nice.
