Default 1st bass on little princess vlei capetown

heres a decent bass caught on little princess vlei capetown

This was our 4th outing there and i finally managed to land one.

The weed that grows there causes an issue if you let the fish run to much, best to get them up to the surface as quick as possible.

This was caught on an olive woolie bugger.

If anyone else has caught on little princess vlei please share your experience

Shhhhhhh!!! Well done. (Always have your fishing permit with you. There's an inspector that checks permits occasionally. He drives a green Toyota Corolla.)

    Hehehehehe Garnet.
It's not in the catching, it's in the learning something new.

    no worries there guys

I have actually have two as i thought i lost mine and then found it.

My mom shares office space with the inspectors up there so ja...... cant poop on your own your own front stoep kinda thing

Am i correct in assuming there some pretty big carp in there too ?

i didnt get the Garnet comment though ?

    Is Herman the inspector O_o

Maybe you can answer what the safety requirements are regarding fishing off a boat there ? life jackets, licensing etc ?

I heard they gonna stop dredging because of the leopard toad, is that true ?
