    Default My tying station

Thought I'd post some pics of my tying station/office.

I haven't gotten around to decorate the room yet (stuffed fish, paintings, etc) but for now I have everything I need closeby and most importantly; it's a well oiled machine that works *for me* you might like something else but I know what I like and don't.Most of my tools are stored on my tying table, holes drilled for specific equipment, the rest on or in drawers and my materials in drawers as well carefully sorted pattern by pattern. I have two wooden boxes which are used for prep work and my beloved flybox on the left always in need of manucuring.

Wooden or laminated floors are essential for things falling of and bright light which I have too. Other goodies in this room which are important include my pc with all the spreadsheets, weather station console, moon calendar, aircon, books and dvds, etc. My kitchen is just a few steps away as you exit the sliding door for all those G&T refreshments come night time...

So ye simplicity is key for me.

Thanks been tying on it for about 4 years now absolutely love it. I painted a white enamel over it which works great, everything is sooo visible and as you can see I don't use a profile plate or similar at all. Those holes on the side are for my synthetics (the ones which comes with a cable tie so you chuck it in there for easy access and pickings without wasting, etc. You basically just slide around the table with your chair so much scope on that table for many more things.
