no idea, but isnt that a chiselmouth or something like that? def not a largescale...
Update: nevermind, I see Koos already answered this one on the other thread.
This weekend was my first time catching one of the "other" yellowfish species on fly. Is this a largescale? How do I tell the difference between small- and largescale?
This fish seemed to be in very healthy condition and is from the Sabie river upstream from Hazyview.
An added bonus was this this was the very first fish caught on my first rod build - A little Winston 7'6 3wt that I completed last year, but only now had the opportunity to fish. Very rewarding...

Admittedly, only fished for them once or twice, in a small section of river below Sabie, but never saw one that big and on that lekker build of yours too... Nice one.

Thanks all!
I have incorrectly assumed it was a species of yellowfish. I was targeting anything that might take a fly, and was expecting a trout at the end of the line. Nice surprise...
