Saw this today and thought i would share.I love the look of this rod.I really like that they have moved away from a cork grip to a composite type material.I think it will work well for the heavier rod classes.Now how do i get my hands on onelegend-x-main-images.jpg

Scythe i have no idea.Trying to find out more about the grip on the net but its vague.Think one will have to mail stcroix for an answer.

Strangely enough when I saw the handle it reminded me of the high density foam that made up my old hockey shin pads. But also looks to be a neoprene look. If it is either of the two then this will be brilliant when wet and for grip.

The high density foam would be soft under slight pressure and then stiffen and mould nicely under high pressure.

Neoprene would have good grip but be too soft I would imagine? I have not come across a high density neoprene so can't really comment on that.

It looks really nice though. I like the mat carbon look a lot.
