Discussions and inputs welcome - all other banter will be moderated Submissions will be closed 31 March 2014 ito this "competition", but I guess the thread should remain open to related discussions and even if you want to post pics afterwards.

    Micro Woolly Bugger
    Hook: Size #14 nymph hook
    Bead: 2.4mm tungsten (colour of choice)
    Thread: Gordon Griffiths
    Tail: Marabou (colour of choice)
    Body: Midge Cactus Chenille (colour of choice)
    Hackle: Couple of turns of grizzly hen
    Hot Spot: Red thread

    Fishes very well dead drifted below a dry fly and has accounted for some good fish this season on the rivers. Strip it or slow figure 8 it through the pools.

    Hook - Gamakatsu BS10 Stinger
    Body - Dubbing
    Tail - White and olive marabou
    Flash - Copper coloured angel hair
    Hackle - Grizzly hackle
    Collar - CDC
    Bead - Tungsten hot orange

    Hook: Gamakatsu B10s #4.
    Eyes: Real Eye Yellow 4mm.
    Tail guard: 2mm Orange foam 5mm wide.
    Tail: Olive Marabou.
    Body: SLF HE dubbing.
    Skirt: Hen Saddle Hackle tan.
    Collar / Head: Beige CDC into split thread.
    Weed guard: Mono thickness of choice
    Hot head: Orange UTC 70 denier.

    Ha ha...Darryl...I tried it once and caught a tree on my back cast...that being said, I like a two tone olive and white like this one, maybe it could represent a baby bass

    Strange, the trees where I fish are not usually picky about colour, they normally eat anything and everything I throw at them ;-)
