    i really enjoy the SBS's. Nice to see how people construct their flies - even though i don't usually follow them when actually tying ..

    As a beginner I would say they are super helpful
    Words can only get you so far, without having any previous experience with fly tying it can be difficult to visualize some steps.

    I really like SBS's as you can see the logical process and simplification of the variety of different ties and tyers. Videos, Vimeos are best.These steps are most often well considered moves by highly skilled tyers to achieve certain effects and ease of tying.
    I like seeing different ways of doing things with the least complicated materials. Materials are a mine of enjoyment. Camouflage and deceiving the eye is an art form.

    As previously mentioned I thoroughly enjoy SBS for learning new techniques or showing a step which is tricky and not easily understood! The effort that is put in is insane and probably under appreciated!!
