Makes me wonder how well such a brandy maker will do in the annual "Snake River One-Fly competition"? And what fly he will choose.
I read somewhere that Turk's Tarantula is a favorite for this One Fly Comp.

Anyone familiar with a dry fly by the name of "Draadsitter"?

I have a couple of those Koos. Used them on the Snake. Big enough fly to catch a GT on:-) The San-Juan worm is also a favourite. Down here I would be happy with a CDC&Elk (black, size 16) or size 16 Black Klinkhammer.

I usually fish 3-weights or lighter, so it might be an issue

Can't see why it will be a problem, I also fish #3, and no problem.

Nymphing, adds depth to your fly fishing.
Nymphing, is fly fishing in another dimension
