    July is soft hackle month ;-) Please post your patterns, be they soft hackles or flymphs.

    What did you use for the hackle Darryl? Is it Guinea fowl? If so, which feathers do you use and don't you find them too stiff? Them first ones are really really pretty.

    Thanks guys. Ben these are all tied with Whiting Brahma Hen Saddle - not stiff at all. These are heavily hackled but I tie sparser ones as well.
