    It is these batteries
    3-6v-3-7v-18650-battery-charger-newfroggyonline-1209-25-NewfroggyOnline@4.jpg

They are available at most gadget shops and I have seen them at all the little chinese shops around PTA.
My sons Cree headlamp actually uses one of these and also came with a little adapter that you can use AAA's instead of the 18650 battery.

Anyways, an extra battery is R25-00 - it was so cheap I bought an extra one.

This is the adapter - it actually came free with the torch but are also available for R20-00 at the same shops.

    Best of both

For those looking for some they are available at The Village Shopping Centre Wekker Rd Moreleta Park, the Chinese Shop next to Toys R Us at Atterbury Value Mart and the shop next to MIDAS at Menlyn Retail Park. 100% sure you will also find plenty at the Chinese Mall on Zambezi. They have the Cree Torches, extra batteries and adapters. And if you really really want - fake buffs for R15-00

What you are showing is a STANDARD 18650 battery.

You are referring to the one that's got the wire and plug attached to the battery. K - I understand. So you will have to charge your battery when it runs low as you cant just take a spare with.

The Nao needs expensive Petzl-branded batteries designed for the torch (or you will have to *try* and mod a standard 18650 to work - and then you have no guarantees)

BUT at the takealot price, this seems to be a steal...if you are wanting something powerful, but large (similar to a Led Lenser H7.R2). For a lighter headlamp (1/2 the mass) the Led Lenser SEO7R makes more sense.

This is the one I have and this is a good price - http://www.sealine.co.za/view_topic....2&forum_id=115

Not the re-chargeable version but more than adequate.
