    Hey Karoo,

Just another option you could consider is Angola, know there is probably stigmas against the country, but there are tarpon there and offshore the guys get big Tarpon. It is one of the places on my bucket list.

Could probably be an more affordable option.

Otherwise start buying those lotto tickets.

    Cheers

    Thanks Uli!

I did contact the guys at Kwanza lodge. Much better prices for the accommodation, still waiting for prices on the boat hire etc. I think that will be the best option. See the guys catch some nice kingies there as well.

Kwanza has attractive rates, but it is with the boat hire where they smoke you. have a look at offthechart.co.za, they have a decent package there. I can recommend OTC travel - have used them twice and with the owner of the company being a fish nut, you always get the low-down on the destination beforehand, from a fishermans perspective.

Sorry forgot to say - the tarpon ant Kwanza as I understand is not really fly friendly, but the estuary options are insane with good jacks and cubera snapper for instance.

    Been there,

Spinned around the mouth for a day with no action.
Maybe if you get on the water you might have better results.
    Kwanza is a expensive destination

Just started to chat with Jono.

Wanna go fish with him in Exmouth Western Australia next year Feb for 5 days.

His rates are very competitive and his fishing reports talk for themselves with regards to quality fish on fly.
