I heard about this from a friend earlier who was there, he mentioned the behavior of some of the people there was disgusting! trying anything to get fish from the water into their boots!

The Sealine thread on this issue completely ruined my day yesterday. It is difficult to believe that MCM could not even get its A in G in order to open the mouth, or at least relocate the fish. Sandvlei is a protected area after all.

The complete and utter lack of any action whatsoever by all of the authorities is reprehensible.

My words are hardly cold and I hear that the mouth is being opened. No kob in evidence at the mouth and a handful of 70 odd cm Leeries

There are reports that some fish were successfully relocated to the sea. Don't have the details yet.

This pisses me off - Makes me furious.

What kind of a sport is it spearfishing for trapped cob. Literally shooting fish in a barrel.

I would have thrown rocks at the "Seal" chasing the cob
