Thanks for the info guys had a great day and managed a few fish although the wing was a bit of a problem at times.
I must say the markers for the beats could be a bit clearer.

We saw the little mound of rocks next to the path but were not sure if this was a sign for the start of the beat?Decided to walk on as we didnt want to fish someone elses beat and had never been on this river. Knew we went to far when we hit the cave lol.
So we went back to about halfway and managed to get down to the river.
