What is Korrie doing in the B side anyway..thought you represented SA A team at a stage.Well done though..
The B Nationals was fished on the Cape rivers over the past few days.
Congratulations to Korrie for winning individual gold, and Western Province B team for team gold. All in, what I believe, were challenging fishing conditions, and a very well organised event, courtesy of Boland and Louis de Jager
Sorry I don't have any other results. Im sure that more comprehensive information will be posted soon enough.

Hi Guys,
Just curious, how are these points per fish determine?
Thanks

ARTICLE 32: AWARDING OF POINTS.
32.1. For each eligible fish caught, a competitor will score one hundred points.
32.2. Competitors will also receive twenty points per centimetre length of each eligible fish; the recorded length will be rounded up to the next complete centimetre for scoring purposes.
32.3. The length of a fish which is under the eligible size will not be rounded up, so such a fish will not be scored.
Eligible fish is determined by rule modifications for each competition.
In the case of this one, it would have been trout ONLY, minimum size = ??? cm (not sure what was used - often 15cm)

Thanks Gary.

Eligible size was 150mm. The score was not in this case rounded up to the nearest cm but was kept exact.
An honest fisherman is a pretty uninteresting person.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and not only is he hungry but broke for the rest of his life as well.
Ya I realize that. You always write on your score card the exact number of mm and then it gets rounded up when the scoring is done. Everyone was told at the opening dinner that the rounding up would not happen and that it would be kept in mm. Not sure why it was done.
