    Kev the triggers were conspicuous by their absence
    The structure doesn't seem to suit them there were way less triggers and parrots than I expected

    I suspect that hooking them would be a mission as there are so many spangled emperors there and they are soo fly hungry
    The gobble any offerings from #2 crabs to big streamers

    We had a couple of false positives when hunting the perms you lob a fly at a pod and go tight ... Elation only to be be deflated once the spangled appeared

    We even had a 30 cm tomato rock cod beat a Geet to an 8/0 semper !!!

    The colours on the blue fin were amazing we had from pitch black to basically silver fish
    They were the most educated fish on the atoll only giving you half a chance and if you fluffed it they were on to you and would refuse any further feather offerings

    It was on my bucket list and now I've been there it's back on there twice !!!!!
    Guides were awesome boat and crew were top notch !
    What ever you do never confuse Fishing With catching Fish !!!!

    Glad the trip happened Denton and MC!

    Great trip I'm sure and great fish to add as well. Did you guys get any Goldens?

    I'm open for applications for a Gillie for next year...

    Arno they were seen by guys in our trip and there have been a few caught this year but we didn't see /target them at all
