    Hi
Yes great deal you got there!!!.
I've bought a 8ft 4 wt Deane Plus recently for R300. There are two variations..the Deane and the Deane Plus. The Deane Plus is the one to get...built locally from an imported blank to look like an Orvis. These were made for the Flyfishing shop jointly own by Roger Beart and Tom Sutcliffe located in Deane Street, Pietermaritzburg before it closed down.

Is it a 2wt or a 3wt...? Im not sure I have heard of a 2/3wt. Either a 2 or 3 wt, should be quite a nice river rod.

He said "stream dance", so therefore it must be a G.Loomis... great deal.

    Hi
The Deane's are weighted 2/3 and 4/5....I checked mine and it's actually not a 4wt but a 4/5wt if that helps
