    Default Saltwater flies!

    Hi Guys,

We have been very busy tying up some great flies for the salties. I will post some more pics as we progress, so far we have done:

    - Clousers in mullet brown, chartreuse, black and olive.
    - Sculpting fiber minnows in mullet brown and olive.
    - Bucktail hollow sempers in silver sides, mullet, black and mackerel.

Hook sizes range from #4 to 6/0.

Will post some more pics soon.

All flies are tied on Owner and Gamakatsu hooks. Each step is cemented and the flies have been designed to minimize fouling when casting. All flies are finished off with either UV resin or Devcon epoxy.

Let us know what you need.

Will take some pics of the other flies within the next few weeks. Herewith some BT Hollows.

We also have some more of the usual fish fooling flies in stock. These Flippers and Clousers come in different sizes for rod weights 5 and up.

I agree with The Largie Whisperer. Great Flies.

    Hi Jax,

Great to see you still understand Afrikaans, daar in NZ!

Gerrit, al die vliee bo het ek gebind, Ryan Wojt en Nick Janse van Rensburg bind ook vliee in die shop. Elke stap word gecement met Loon en net die beste hoeke (Gamas en Owners) word gebruik. Waar epoxy werk gedoen word is dit Devcon 30 minutes, great epoxy. Ons werk ook met UV Resin, Deer Creek en Loon. Al die Flippers as n voorbeeld word ge-epoxy om die oog en lip.

Hi Karoo, the Jam and Floating prawns are R 100 each, sounds pricey, but I challenge anyone to tie a few. Taking around 1 hour to tie one of these flies, not actually worth it in terms of selling these flies. Will post the JAM flies soon.

The Clousers range between R 30.00 and R 40.00, depending on size, as mentioned we use the best hooks and materials, the Clousers are cemented 4 times during the tying process and finished with Devcon Epoxy. The base layer of thread is also cemented, leading to much less of the eyes twisting when hitting the fly on rock/sand.
