The SDS on the Yamaha F300 is quite interesting.

Yep no problem here with 2 strokes. 4strokes are better for raising marlin though

We are off and running - into the build, progress of the gelcoat application to mold, and subsequent layup process below. Transom build up using Starboard. Next will come more glass and then stringers, fuel tank, routing for wiring, foam and the deck and cap etc.
They certainly move along at a pace once they start !!
Full dual axle aluminium and stainless slide on trailer with electric over hydraulic brakes on all 4 wheels has been completed and is waiting in Jacksonville for the call to deliver.

Cap is out of the mold and waiting for the hull and liner - can't beat 3 piece construction over 2 piece construction for an offshore boat.
Couple of shots of the trailer that has been finished and is sitting waiting for the boat.

Geez Steve,
That is starting to look good! Cant believe the pace that they work at.
The brakes on the trailer look pretty sweet! You must be chomping at the bit for this thing to arrive!

Can't wait mate. Will be chasing the marlin in summer then the yellowfin, bluefin in winter. Spring will see us up at Frazer Island on the mack tuna, longtails and little blacks on the flats with some time spent wide on the blues.
Carpe diem I say.

Stringer system is in and fuel tank and water tank should go in in the next day or so - plan is for them to pop the hull from the mold before the end of the year and a new hull will be born - then we can see what the outside looks like all shiny and smooth....
Very happy with the rigidity and strength they put into this boat.
