Are you looking for a dubbing brush spinning block, or a dubbing blender? Lots of information on both. Most guys build their own spinning blocks very easily, as the ones from the dealers are ridiculously expensive, otherwise do what most guys do and spin the dubbing using the vise and split thread technique, and if you are looking for a dubbing blender, a small coffee blender is the trick.

Im sure it is called a debbing spinner or similar. As in two lengths of wire with dubbing matieral laid between and then twisted into a rope. I am partially sighted so swambo gets antsy if I come near tools qith sharp edges etc. Thinking about it flyfishing is the last thing I should be doing. Dumb or what?

heres mine, it works well and still in use. I have since, modified it to work with a battery operated screwdriver with variable speed, on a smaller base. I still tie almost all of my yellowfish nymphs with dubbing brushes.

Andre do you have pics of your "new" version? Saw your original one, great idea, and I'd love to build something similar myself... any chance you could shoot some pics of the design and a simple step by step build process?

    Many Thanks
    Andre
