Considering that the Zambezi sharks in the Breede like to lurk below the boat waiting for the grunter - I would ditch this idea

World record Zambezi shark was caught in the Breede, but not on a lure looking like a donut with legs and flippers dangling from it.

I've been tempted to use my float tube here in Knysna to reach some nice sand banks for Grunter. But after I heard of local fishermen swearing that there is Zambesi's in the lagoon I bought a boat. I know that there are Raggies here for sure. Here is a picture of a steenbras that was taken next to a boat. The left over fish weighed around 6 kg.

Silly idea totally. you would have to kick against tidal currents. Rather use a canoe.
