Maybe, but before a dry fly becomes a dry fly, it is a NYMPH.
that is why you should always start with a nymph

A photo that was taken on 30 May, in that area. The caption on the FB page, from that area is "Spring is coming"
Lots of defrosting and melting that needs to take place.
Makes me grateful for living in SA, with our weather.

    The magic of the internet.
There is an email loop of the 3 Swedish guys and me, with information constantly being forwarded to me, about the trip, the weather etc.
Even how much "night" we will have, or actually "non sunlight".
there will only be 3 hours and 8 minutes of non sunlight everyday, for our stay.
It will not be dark in those hours, just "not as light", as when the sun is out.
I replied, the evening hatch will be fished from 23:40 to 23:45.

Korrie, when I moved to Northern Germany everybody told me how the long winter nights would get to me. I cannot tell you how traumatising it is having only 4 hours of darkness every night to try and sleep through. Bring me the darkness any day.

Korrie, you lucky fish, I am sure you will have an absolute blast. Those mozzies do not always respond to Tabard, if you can try get a product there think it is called "Off". Last time I was out there the mozzies licked of the Tabbard and proceeded to bite the shit out of me.

Green of envy, hope you enjoy, and the weather clears up some

With so much water, I guess 5 days, is not enough to fish all of it.

And that's their SUMMER. Have they ever experienced double digit temperatures?
An honest fisherman is a pretty uninteresting person.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and not only is he hungry but broke for the rest of his life as well.
