A lot of fishing on the lake for trout is done with floating lines and dry flies, often fishing big dries. A Rainbow of 17kgs was taken with a dry on Yelcho lake.
I have seen some of the dry flies they throw at the rainbows. Beetles the length of your index finger. NO KIDDING. (looks like these GIANT DUNG Beetles we have in Africa)
