    He said it is due to the winter inversion of the water and this has meant that the water is very discoloured.

    I fished it about 3 months ago and yeah, it was super dirty. Like pea soup - Its odd though, usually the lack of rain would mean clearer water. My father-in-law tells me the water in the area is alkaline, and that sediment hangs in the water - or something like that. To be honest, I was a bit lost on the subject.
