One thing to bear in mind is that very short ducks (less than 3m long) battle to track straight when used with a motor. I would still look for an Ark Fishduc, without doubt the best quality. For motors look at a 40lb Minn Kota and for batteries nothing less than 100A/H unless you like rowing :-) I use 2 X 75 Ah run in parallel as they are easier to carry over a distance.
