    There are plenty of little streams like this one in the Dolomite Mountains
    Beautiful brown trout and grayling waters.
    Not an area that is frequented by too many flyfishers and tourist, but a stunning area of Italy.
    The people there are more Austrian or german than Italian.

    Korrie, when you have time please give your thoughts on why it reminds you of the Arpo? I personally cannot see many similarities between the 2 patterns.

    Return flights to Italy (Rome) as well as Zurich around 7K which is not bad. Wonder how much fishing costs etc would be? Europe is not a cheap place to fish on average.

    It reminds me of the arpo also. I thought that the arpo was in fact a bubble caddis tied with CDC. but I do like your fly a lot. Definatly similar to the arpo in my view.
