    Hiya

    ANyone know anything about these ..... www.mgflyreels.co.za ?

    I am pretty keen on a 7/8 for light saltwater and am wondering how the drag will hold up in salt.

    That's funny, I listed as a stockist but I have never heard of the brand.

    Just looked a bit deeper, David Levene (ex Stealth) is behind it, so don't take warranties too literally as he is VERY old.

    Not sure what age has to do with warranty, but anyway.....I heard that Daniel Factor has taken over the total management of the company. If that is true, then there should be no problem, as Dan is young, energetic, and a lakka dude.

    It looks like a nice reel. Very similar to several other imported reels from the East, so its not going to be much different from the average run of the mill cheapie reel. It will work well and do the job. I wouldn't be too concerned about warranties, as the reel could probably be replaced for less than the hassle value. The reel that I imported directly from China cost me less than the postage and it seems to work well.

    Which company did he take over total management of, Stealth?
