A beautiful net Mario. Well done. Selling?
My latest net and the 1st of a new range that I am calling the “Sensaina hana” range. Translated it means “delicate flower”. While making this net, it was consciously made thinner, lighter and with a few additional radiuses and curves than most others nets I make. As the net started taking shape, the vision of a blooming flower came to mind, with the handle representing the stalk, and the hoop emerging from it as the blooming flower would. A Wild Olive inlay was added that represents the seed from which the flower grew, but which functionally becomes a lanyard cavity. Dimensions are as follows:
Total length: 590mm
Hoop/Gape length: 330mm
Hoop/Gape width: 220mm
Construction: Bamboo and Guajuvira with a Wild Olive lanyard cavity inlay.

Nice work Mario!
What surface finish do you like ??
Charles Thomas
Thanks Sam, already sold - was just showing off/bragging/generating content
Thanks Julian - it's not Kiaat though
Thanks CThomas - I prefer mostly satin finish on the nets. The process is quite time consuming. 1st rubbed with raw linseed, left for a couple of days, rubbed down with Benzine. Then dipped in varnish (special mix), sanded down, dipped again, sanded and polished, then either satin final coat PU or rubbed with raw linseed again.

Mario, always impressed with your work. Got to see one of your nets in the flesh at Richard's place this weekend and the pic do not do them justice. Was also very surprised at how light the net was but still an extremely solid piece of workmanship.
