Breede Trips March 2016
We are proud to announce the launch of the brand new and private Karoolskraal Fly Fishing camp on the banks of the Breede. I had spent a great weekend there two weeks back with some of the top saltwater fly rodders in South Africa, including Henkie Altena, MC Coetzer, Mark Krige, Jimmy Eagleton and Conrad Botes.
During this weekend Conrad caught his personal best kob to date, an impressive 108 cm fork length fish. Apart from kob, which was the dominant species for the weekend, the group also landed grunter and leerfish - a Karoolskraal Grand Slam!
