    Default TFO BVK Rod snapped

    Yesterday on the Vaal, the unfortunate happened - The section second from the tip of my 5wt BVK snapped. Without much pressure and without warning. After I recovered from the initial shock, horror and surprise, I wondered what now?

    I bought the rod in 2011. The fly shop I bought it from in Pretoria have since closed down. How do I go about getting a replacement section for it? Not sure if it will be covered under warranty (if any), etc. Anyone with experience on getting replacement sections for TFO?

    Hi Morne

    Just drop TFO a mail, and then send them the rod, they will replace it as far as i understand. Lifetime warranty and all.

    Same here, awesome service and loving my BVK more and more every trip. Talking under correction but replacement is somewhere between R300-400?
